Management buy-out at Duraweld

Duraweld managers Hannah Senior and husband Mark Yeung have bought the company from Richard Senior. Hannah Senior, Richard's daughter, becomes chief operating officer and Yeung its finance manager. Richard, who has led the company since 1972, will be staying on as a consultant for the next three years.

Color Confidence relocates

Colour management and digital imaging specialist Color Confidence has relocated its headquarters to Spectrum Point in southwest Birmingham. The move is a major step in the company's five-year expansion plan.

Tech8 endorses Colorific inks

After extensive field testing across a range of Mimaki and Uniform wide-format solvent-based inkjet printers, technical support company Tech8 has accepted Colorific Bio-U, Elite, Fresh and ProJ3 inks onto its approved product programme. Amari Plastics undertakes UK distribution for Dibond ACM panels

Dibond ACM panels are now available in the UK through Amari Plastics service centres following an agreement with manufacturer 3A Composites (formerly Alcan Composites). Dibond digital and Dilite panels will also be available. The move brings together the complete range of 3A Composites' products for the UK sign and display sector into Amari Plastics' expanding portfolio, which also includes Kapa, Forexclassic, Forexsmart and Gatorfoam brands.

Hybrid to showcase Mimaki newcomers at Sign and Digital

Hybrid Services, Mimaki's UK distributor, will use Sign and Digital UK 2010 (stand D10) to introduce new textile and UV-cure printers to the sign and graphics markets. Launching at the event is the TX400-1800 direct-to-textile printer which is expected to be of interest to anyone wanting to get involved in volume, water-based, direct-to-polyester or dye sublimated flags, point of sale and soft signage work. Autobond aims to show its new Mini 36 TPM-SUV sheet-fed laminator inkjet-print a spot UV, LED curable varnish inline on top of matt film - a move that Autobond claims could have implications 'far beyond the laminating process'.
