AXYZ International is now selling a range of spare parts for all AXYZ and Pacer routers and is stocking used machines at its cncroutershop division.

To celebrate the recent release of the Roland VersaUV LEF-20 and VersaCamm VS-i series, printMax is running a series of open days across the country. At Clevedon (4 - 5 November), Aldershot (7 - 8 November) and Walsall (12 - 13 November) the company will provide hands-on demonstrations of the both machines. Other technology from Roland will also be on show.

Textile transfer and sublimation specialist Xpres is now selling Mimaki printers and cutters. Xpres has formed a strategic alliance with exclusive Mimaki distributors for the UK, Hybrid Services, as part of its plan to extend its hardware and supplies offering to the sign industry.

Following Nazdar's announcement that it will offer free ink cartridges to the UK's wide-format print businesses, Quality Print Services (QPS) says it is looking forward to being involved in the campaign's roll-out.

Matan now offers an automatic blockout option on its newest Barak 8Q printer that it says makes double-sided blockout printing simple and quick.

Neschen has sold the main assets of its US subsidiary to a US buyer. This includes the production plants in Elkridge and Wisconsin, the Seal brand name and the media and laminator business in the USA. The sale of the US subsidiaries means that their annual losses of 1.5 - 2.0 million Euros will no longer have to be covered by Neschen and Neschen Benelux. The freed-up funds will now be invested in Neschen core business.

Esko will use the SGIA Expo in the US later this month to launch the Kongsberg C digital finishing series and demonstrate its new i-cut Production Console software interface for operating Kongsberg tables. On show will be the new Kongsberg C64, a 3.2m wide cutting table that accommodates 126in wide x 63in long (321cm x 160cm) sizes.

A 3D Printshow Education Session on 8 November will provide free access to 3D printing for school and university groups. The programme will give 3,000 students from across the country a hands-on experience with the technology and will award a free 3D printer to each comprehensive school bringing more than 35 students to the event in London. School groups will take these printers back to the classroom, giving students the chance to learn, study and develop their skills using 3D technology.

ESMA (European Speciality Print and Manufacturers Association) and IMI, the inkjet technology conference organiser, will create a functional and decorative industrial print conference programme at InPrint 2014 next spring. The two-day conference will run 8-9 April 2014 at the InPrint Show and will focus on ‘Smart’ screenprinting and digital inkjet within industrial print production.

Colourgen has made three key appointments in its hardware and consumables sales divisions. Justin Steers has been appointed internal sales manager; Tom Owers has been promoted to the newly created position of internal business development manager; and Lucy Ibbott has joined in the role of internal sales and support executive.

After two years as an associate member of Fespa, the Bulgarian Association for Contemporary Graphics and Printing (BACGP) has been granted full membership. This means that the organisation can now vote on issues that will help shape Fespa's future.
