Over 1,500 comments of support from Watford Football Club (nicknamed ‘The Hornets’) fans have been captured in a 4m x 1.3m banner produced for the playoff final with Crystal Palace on Monday 27 May. The messages were compiled over four days last week via Twitter, Facebook and the club’s official mailing list, with the subsequent banner produced in collaboration with audio and video-embedded print integration company Talking Print and printed by Watford-based Stylo Graphics.

Digital Plus on charity run
Three employees of Leeds-based Digital Plus are to run the Manchester Bupa 10k run with the aim of raising £1,000 for children’s charity Martin House. John Webster, Simon Porter and Sarah Chamberlain will undertake the run on the 26 May to raise awareness and money for the cause.
Matan increases production space by 75%
Matan Digital Printers, manufacturer of the Barak line of super-wide UV printers, has increased its production floor by 75%. “With an ever-increasing demand for the Barak printers, our previous production space just could not accommodate the required volume and we had to expand,” said Hanan Yosefi, Matan president and CEO.

Free flags and banners help hospice raise funds
Hampshire Flag Company has donated flags and banners to support a charity which helps improve the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Is has supplied nine roller banners, two tear drop flags and 10 PVC banners to The Rowans Hospice, which is situated just a few miles away from the firm in Waterlooville.

Fespa 2013 to see expanded Truepress range
