Large-format graphic consumables supplier, ap denmark, has found a niche market with canvas graphics that can be used to reduce indoor noise pollution. The 'acoustic graphics' application developed by ap denmark and initially produced by Sumopix using HP Designjet printers and media, is seen as having potential in many public places such as schools, businesses, architecture firms and by managers of other public buildings.

Avery Dennison's graphics and reflective products division website now has an online colour selector showing what is available in each of the self-coloured ranges of Avery Graphics self-adhesive films. Users can also check product performance capabilities with the relevant technical datasheets online.

Sign and Digital UK attracts newcomers

The Sign and Digital UK show being held at the NEC next April is attracting a high number of new exhibitors according to the organisers. Over 70 exhibitors have now booked their stand, including newcomers like The Allsigns Group, Trade Sign Supplies, Eurobond Adhesives and Print United.

Spandex to sell new Mutoh Kona series of cutting plotters

Spandex is selling all three models of the new Mutoh Kona range of multi-purpose vinyl cutting plotters. The models, which handle media up to 1mm in thickness, are: the Kona SCL-760, with a maximum sheet/roll media width of 1000mm; the Kona SCL-1400 with maximum sheet/roll media width of 1640mm; and the Kona SCL-1650, with a maximum sheet/roll media width of 1890mm.
