Onyx has launched three Epson Edition Rip packages for the Epson SureColor, which are now available from UK and Ireland distributor ArtSystems.

Oasis Graphics created and installed printed PVC and fabric banners at the World Travel Market (WTM) in November at ExCeL London.

It was a particularly busy exhibition for Oasis Graphics which printed and installed large-format graphics for several exhibitors' stands, all built and designed by three of Oasis' customers, Exib, Exposures and Carinya.

Oasis created and installed dozens of outsize, full colour printed PVC and fabric pieces to hang above, clothe or wrap some of the highest profile stands on the show floor. Oasis also provided scores of print and profile cut vinyls for walls, floors, windows and tables, as well as the standard fare of printed foamex, helping to create expertly branded environments on behalf of its customers. By the time of the show's opening, Oasis prints were emblazoned over eight stands in total, Abu Dhabi, California, Kenya, Ibiza, Avis, Budget, OTI and Special Tours, all ably installed by the sixteen strong Oasis installation team.

The annual Christmas Carol Service for printers will take place at 6pm on 11 December 2012 at St Bride’s Church on Fleet Street in London. The event will be hosted by the British Printing Industries Federation, The Newspaper Society, The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers and the Trade Union Unite.

The BDRC SME Finance Monitor has shown that lending levels to business hit record lows in Q3 this year. Alex Jackman, head of policy at the Forum of Private Business, said in response: “This report shows what most already suspected - bank lending to small business is not where it should be and is likely hampering economic recovery in the UK. It certainly is not at the level required to encourage the kind of growth the UK desperately needs for jobs and prosperity.

Hampshire Flag Company has bought a Zund G3 XL3200 cutter from reseller I-Sub Digital.  The company took delivery of the cutter in July at its Waterlooville factory close to Portsmouth.

To extend its reach in EMEA Mimaki has expanded its European set-up with new team members in sales, internet marketing, warranty and technical support.
