Car wrapping at all skill levels is the topic of a programme of practical workshops being provided this autumn by Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Solutions at its Graphics Centre in Alphen-aan-den-Rijn, The Netherlands.
Oasis goes back to black
Oasis Graphic is discovering the appeal of the opaque matte black print made possible with its EFI Vutek GS3250 flatbed UV printer after being commissioned to produce over 26m2 of graphics on several substrates for Blackberry. This included direct print to clear polycarbonate for light boxes and direct print to ferro paper which, when coupled with magnetic panels, have created a quick and easily updateable graphic solution. All the graphics were UV printed to guarantee colour integrity for four years.
Service Graphics gets the Coldplay gig
Service Graphics is responsible for providing the giant backdrop for the Coldplay Mylo Xyloto European Tour. Set design and construction company Hangman commissioned the St Ives subsidiary to print the 6,200m2 backdrop which covers the stadium seating behind the stage.
Inca Ideas judges announced

GB swimmer Katie’s splash of colour
Katie Skelton, a member of the GB synchronised swimming squad sponsored by Hollywood Monster, recently visited the company’s Tyseley headquarters where she started the print run for one of Europe’s largest ever banners. The 350m x 14m display will be installed at Westfield Stratford City, adjacent to the Olympic Park, before the event begins next month.
