EFI has launched the R3225 3.2m roll-to-roll, entry-level production UV inkjet printer at the ISA International Sign Expo in Orlando.

Aspalt Art International has extended its UV inkjet printable floor covering with TexWalk, a textile base with a special glue on the backside for floor advertising. On the frontside, there’s a slip-resistant PVC coating. There is no need to laminate the flooring once its printed.

New from Avery Dennison is the Avery FleXtreme micro-squeegee to help vehicle graphics applicators to achieve a smooth finish around what may look like impossibly tight or intricate curves and corrugations.

The summer should see availability of the Mimaki TX500-1800DS which is capable of printing at 150m2/hr on pre-treated polyester fabrics. It uses Mimaki’s new Sb300 sublimation ink and comes in six-colour and four-colour modes. The printer can accept rolls of fabric up to 60kg and 300mm in diameter.
