A new student survey shows that PrintIt!, the initiative to get youngsters interested in careers in print and packaging, is having a real impact. 74% of last year’s entrants felt they were well informed about printing after the PrintIt! competition compared to just four percent before.

New vinyl swatch from APS
A new ‘colour change’ vinyl swatch for car tuning and cast vinyl film from All Print Supplies (APS) comprises over 170 different polymeric and cast colour change films from major manufacturers such as Mactac and KPMF.
Josero in search for resellers
Josero is looking to expand and strengthen its reseller network. Specific parts of the country where additional resellers are required include the north east and south west of England, though partners in other areas will also be considered.
Fespa Global Summit packages announced
Fespa is offering early bird rates to print producers that sign-up for its Global Summit in London on 22 – 13 January 2013. It is the first time the event will be open to the industry in this manner – previously only invited parties have been allowed to attend the think tank.
Ipex 2014 gains momentum
Since June 2012, a further 46 suppliers have confirmed their attendance at Ipex 2014, pushing the total number of primary exhibitors to over 200. The latest sign-ups equate to 2,500m2 of additional floorspace, with Konica Minolta committing to a 95% increase in its stand size compared to Ipex 2010. 63% of the available floorspace is now contracted.

EFI Fiery makes its mark

Fespa breaks its Mexico record
The fifth Fespa Mexico event has attracted 9,198 visitors, up 11% from 2011 - a 38% increase since Fespa acquired the exhibition in 2008. The ratio of decision-makers also rose this year making up 48% of the total visitor turnout, an increase of 7% from last year. The 10,500m2 show, which took place at the end of September, had the theme 'keep your business moving'.
