Icon awarded long-term wayfinding contract with Dubai Airports
Icon Prolab, the Middle East division of Icon, has been awarded a long-term wayfinding consultancy role with Dubai Airports. Initial work started in the autumn of 2011 and the contract is expected to run through to 2014. The awarding of the contract coincides with the appointment of Tim Woodstock as head of wayfinding for Icon's Middle East team.

Greenshires hits the right note for Iron Maiden with HP Scitex FB7500
A HP Scitex FB7500 industrial press has been used by Leicester-based Greenshires to print special-edition Iron Maiden ‘Ed Til I'm Dead’ drum wraps for Premier Music International. Using the machine’s POP34 mode for close-view applications, the company produced 500 sets of 11 drum wraps, totalling approximately 1000m2 of print, in about five working days.

Bex Design takes on 97 mile walk for air ambulance
To mark the silver anniversary of Bex Design, managing director Ian Board and his colleague Mel Rowden will walk 97 miles from Yatton, Keynell, a small village near the company’s office, to Hyde Park Corner in London, in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance. The pair will leave on Friday 1 June and plan to arrive in London on Monday 4 June.
