ThunderJet roll-to-roll UV printer
China Print Supplies has rolled out the ThunderJet UV printer to the UK market.
Having established itself as a distributor in 2024, it has increased its hardware portfolio with this roll-to-roll printer being the next in line to land.
The ThunderJet is designed for multi-layer printing on various substrates and comes with white ink and a varnish option.
It is equipped with four Epson i3200 printheads, which deliver 720×1200 dpi prints at speeds of up to 58.5m2/hr.
The unique water-cooled print plate dissipates LED heat and keeps media flat, enabling printing on a wide range of materials without wrinkling.
The Thunderjet AQ1800 UV features full white ink recirculation to prevent damaging sedimentation during downtime. This protects print heads and maintains consistent performance.
Scott Clutton, one of the directors at CPS, said: “This machine is a fantastic option for lightboxes and other front and backlit prints.
