Mimaki TS330-3200DS installed at GH Display

GH Display has installed the UK’s first Mimaki TS330-3200DS grand-format printer to bring all dye sublimation work in-house.

Bought from Soyang Hardware, the Peterborough-based company obtained it to help maximise profits from printing jobs.

It had previously purchased the Vivid Veloblade Nexus from the distributor, and upon returning with the latest request, it was recommended the Mimaki hardware.

The grand-format dye sublimation and direct-to-polyester printer is a super-high productivity device, operating at speeds of up to 150m sq/hr at 600dpi.

It can print on media up to 3.2m wide, allowing users to produce everything from soft signage, flags and home décor to display, backlit applications and blockout pieces.

Jenny Hodson, Director at GH Display, said: “Bringing dye sublimation in-house will allow us to control quality and lead times much better, offer more competitive pricing than ever before, as well as deliver quicker lead times for customers.”

The machine was delivered and installed in April.
