FastSigns Scotland’s Fujifilm Acuity Triton with AQUAFUZE
FastSigns Scotland, not associated with the FASTSIGNS franchise, has announced major benefits from using Fujifilm’s new Acuity Triton with AQUAFUZE ink since early 2025.
As official demo sites and global beta testers, the company has worked closely with Fujifilm to validate the printer and ink system in real-world production environments, and report benefits in terms of flexibility, productivity, and application quality.
Robert Lambie, managing director of FastSigns Scotland, said: “Having been in the sign industry for over 36 years, I’ve worked with most sign and print technologies. Each ink type brought something new to the table, so when I was approached by Fujifilm, to effectively join their R&D team in testing this new ink technology, my curiosity got the better of me!
“The machine is very easy to run, from loading media to the RIP software – everything just works with very little effort. The print quality is brilliant: vibrant, razor-sharp, even on text only a few millimetres high. And being able to laminate prints straight out of the machine is a massive bonus.”
Shaun Holdom, global business development director, Fujifilm, added: “Having FastSigns Scotland as early beta partners has been invaluable. Their real-world feedback during the beta phase has been important, and their results speak for themselves. This partnership has also proven the ability of AQUAFUZE technology to deliver across a wide spectrum of applications.”
