Dayfold Group has expanded its portfolio by bringing large-format printing in-house.
The company recently installed an HP Latex R2000 allowing it to offer the new services to its customers.
At the end of last year, managing director Del Simmons led a management buyout of the company, shortly after which Dayfold pushed ahead with a double equipment investment.
The first purchase was an HP Indigo 7K, followed by the HP Latex R2000.
While the 7K added extra capacity and flexibility, the R2000 – which was installed in September this year – has allowed the company to bring profitable large-format print work in-house.
Lee Carpenter, client engagement director, said: “We carried out an assessment of all large format printers currently available, weighing up their pros and cons.
“We had two key requirements: excellent sustainability and the capability of producing a market-leading spot white. The HP Latex R2000 excels at both.”
