Elitron will unveil a new Kombo TAV at Drupa later this month. Re-designed electronics and new motion control system with faster communication protocol translate into a “+ 35% faster speed, + 40% greater production efficiency and -30% energy consumption, which all add up to place the Kombo TAV in a class of its own” according to Elitron America’s president Daniele Gallucci.
“Furthermore, the system is not only ready for Industry 4.0 but it’s also ready for Industry 5.0 and future AI integration” added Gallucci.
Multi-stack pallets of boards feed directly into the Kombo TAV, with individual sheets being loading, aligned, cut and creased, and then unloading using the integrated Airo Panel for a clean-cut and aligned palleted stack.
“The new era of the Kombo TAV fully automatic, integrated, digital cutting system is here. This is the only cutting system with a fully integrated, patented pallet management system and it’s a real game-changer,” added Paolo Malatesta, Elitron’s executive director.
Eltron will also use Drupa to showcase another newcomer – the Spark cutting system with a multi-tool cutting head and patented Seeker System vision system for sample production.
