The show’s catwalk made from banners donated by FaberExposize UK

FaberExposize UK helped bring glitz, glamour and laughter to Leeds as the wide print manufacturer provided sustainable materials to the Fashion Loves Comedy event.

Local to the city, the company’s recycled fabrics were transformed into an eye-catching catwalk and event decorations; showcasing how repurposed materials can contribute to innovative and impactful design.

Faber was approached by organiser and fashion designer Bo Carter, who was looking for banners and fabrics that aligned with the event’s commitment to sustainability.

Sharing this value, the company donated recycled fabrics that became a central feature of the evening.

Hollie Stothard, marketing manager at FaberExposize UK said: “We were thrilled to support the Fashion Loves Comedy event, which brilliantly highlighted the power of sustainable practices in both fashion and event production.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to zero landfill, community engagement, and environmental responsibility.”

Held in aid of Choose Love – a charity dedicated to providing vital aid to refugees worldwide – the event brought together talented sustainable fashion designers and a lineup of female comedians, creating an unforgettable evening that celebrated creativity, eco-consciousness, and social impact.

It was held on December 5 at the Left Bank in Leeds, with Capital FM DJ Jojo hosting and comedian and former Taskmaster champion Kerry Godliman headlining the event.
