Micah Kornberg, newly appointed CEO at Fiery
Digital front ends (DFEs) and workflow software provider, Fiery, has announced that Micah Kornberg, Fiery’s chief financial and operating officer, has taken on the role of CEO at the company after Toby Weiss’ departure.
Kornberg joined Fiery in 2011 when Electronics For Imaging, Fiery’s former parent
company, purchased print-for-pay pioneer Entrac, which Kornberg was president of.
He then served as vice president and executive sponsor for Fiery’s enterprise accounts division,
where he helped modernise Fiery’s enterprise portfolio and became an integral part of Fiery’s leadership team.
Former CEO Toby Weiss said: “Leading the team at Fiery has been an honor for me. I love the print industry, but decided for personal reasons to take on the challenges of leading a company in the field of cybersecurity, which is where I spent my early career prior to joining Fiery.
“Micah has been an instrumental part of Fiery’s management team for over 15 years, and I have full confidence that he will continue to expand Fiery’s role as the leading DFE technology provider in digital print.”
Mr Kornberg added: “Toby has been an exceptional leader for over a decade and a half, and his efforts have positioned Fiery extremely well for continued DFE technology leadership and diversified growth. I’m honored to take the reins, and look forward to guiding Fiery to even greater
success in the next chapter of its journey.”
