This is not your usual industry-focussed editor’s message, but I received a press release this morning that gave me a laugh – so I thought I’d pass on the merriment! Apparently there’s now a smart app that helps you slash your energy bill by charging your electric vehicle at the lowest possible tariff, and earn cashback by offsetting each kWh you smart charge against the British energy grid. Was thinking it might be useful info in regards to your delivery fleet – then saw it only applies to the Tesla, Jaguar I-Pace or a BMW i3. Oh well….
