Mutoh has launched its new eco-solvent printer
Mutoh Europe has announced the launch of its new 64in/1625mm eco solvent printer XpertJet 1641SR Pro II.
The new model combines Mutoh’s latest AccuFine HD Pro print head with the i-Screen EX System and uses MS51 inks, delivering productivity of up to 17.6m sq/hr.
The AccuFine HD Pro print head features eight nozzle rows with nozzle row pairing to improve ink landing accuracy for each colour, combined with Mutoh’s new i-Screen EX print control system, supports smoother gradations, improved colour uniformity, and detail reproduction.
Mutoh’s Wide Color Choice input profile expands the achievable colour gamut, which is suitable for high-impact graphics, car wraps, and retail signage.
The UL GREENGAURD Gold certified, gBL-free MS51 eco-solvent ink carries no hazard pictograms under applicable classification and delivers vibrant colour output, fast drying, excellent weather resistance, and durable scratch performance.
The new printer is available from January 2026
The new printer, equipped with Mutoh’s DropMaster 2 and FeedMaster technology, automatically adjusts bi-directional alignment and media feed accuracy, reducing setup time.
Functions like Media Tracker and Nozzle Area Select further improve operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
The new XpertJet 1641SR Pro II will be available across the EMEA region through Mutoh’s authorised reseller network starting January 2026.
