Mutoh wins EDP award for its XpertJet 1681SR Pro
MUTOH Europe has walked away with a win at the European Digital Press (EDP) Award for its XpertJet 1681SR Pro.
The printer took the title of Best Roll-to-Roll Printer under 170cm in the Large/Wide Format Printing Systems category.
Designed for professional sign and display production, the 64in eco-solvent XpertJet 1681SR Pro combines high image quality with dependable productivity.
The printer features MUTOH’s AccuFine HD Pro printhead technology, incorporating 3,200 nozzles across eight channels to deliver precise droplet placement and detailed image reproduction.
The machine also benefits from the company’s latest i-Screen EX technology, helping to achieve smoother gradations, improved solid colour areas and consistent output across longer production runs.
In Europe, the printer is supplied with MUTOH’s MS51 eco-solvent inks in an eight-colour configuration, including orange and red inks to enhance colour vibrancy and improve brand colour accuracy.
The addition of light cyan and light magenta inks further supports smooth tonal transitions and reduced graininess.
