New US facility for swissQprint
Printer manufacturer swissQprint released pictures of its newly proposed US offices as it looks to grow its presence in the region.
The new facility will enhance the company’s ability to serve customers and showcase its technology. It is situated on three acres within West Dundee, Illinois, located 10 minutes closer to Chicago O’Hare airport than the current premises.
It spans 24,7780sq ft, featuring a 4,757sq ft showroom and hospitality area, a training centre, and a 2,192sq ft area for machine refurbishment and service.
The expansion has also increased storage and office space, rounding a total size increase to 130% compared to the current building in Elgin. Additionally, 400 solar panels are planned for installation.
Work has begun on the construction, with the ground-breaking ceremony taking place on July 9. The building is scheduled to be completed by mid 2026.
Kilian Hintermann, CEO of swissQprint, said: “This new facility for our US subsidiary is a testament to our commitment to serving our North American customers even better.”
