New inks from Mutoh
Mutoh will introduce two new inks at the Viscom Italy show later in October – Bio-Lactite and MS Ultra.
Bio-Lactite inks, which are 50% corn and do not release any VOCs, can be used with a wide range of uncoated environmentally friendly low-cost roll-to-roll substrates as well as rigid materials. They are fixed and dried using a minimum of energy (600 W) and have an outdoor durability of up to two years, without lamination.
Mutoh’s third generation mild solvent inks, Mild Solvent Ultra (MS Ultra), have been developed for a wider media compatibility and better performance than Mutoh’s second-generation MS Plus inks. The ink range has been optimised specifically for the Spitfire Extreme series and Blizzard models.
