Fespa has announced details of the feature highlights at WrapFest 2024 at Silverstone Racing Circuit, Northamptonshire, on 3 – 4 October. New is a bookable ‘business surgery’ with car wrapper Yiannimize. What is the second iteration of this event will also be home to a new Surface Decoration Showcase.

The Surface Decoration Showcase, a divergence from the core vehicle wrap content of the show, will display products for interior spaces, including furniture wraps, window films, wall coverings, and window tinting solutions. Independent trainers will be on hand to demonstrate these solutions, allowing attendees to get hands-on experience with the latest materials.

Returning to the main event will be the WrapTalks programme. The full details can be found on the WrapFest website, but includes a panel discussion moderated by Paige Walton, CEO and founder of The Vehicle Wrapping Academy, and exploring the experiences of women in the sector. Also of note on the programme is Sean Bull, F1 graphic designer at Alpine, who will share his expertise on the interplay of design, technology, and aesthetics in Formula 1. Keiran McCabe, owner of RGVA Vehicle Graphics, will host ‘Designing Effective Fleet Liveries’, and Chris Edwards, director of CVI Group, will present ‘Architectural Wrap and its Role in the Industry’.

WrapFest 2024 will again host live demonstrations in the pit garages at Silverstone, with dedicated areas for event sponsors to show-off wrapping techniques, materials, and products. The pit demo agenda will be announced in the coming weeks.

The UK leg of the eagerly anticipated World Wrap Masters competition will also return to WrapFest, with up to 20 wrappers battling it out in a series of skill testing and creative rounds over the two days. The judges – including Kiss Lajos, Ivan Tenchev, and Ole Solskin – will task this year’s entering participants with challenges using printed media, colour change, and new for 2024, PPF materials. The winner will compete in the World Wrap Masters final at Fespa Global in Berlin in May 2025.

In addition, the Wrap Institute will again encourage visitors to test their wrapping skills in a fun series of competitions at Wrap Warrior Battle. Other WrapFest 2024 features include ‘Show N Shine’, a chance for visitors to highlight their own work to fellow attendees whilst being scored on their design, materials, and finish to win daily prizes from the People’s Choice and Judges Choice Awards.
