Color-Logic has certified the PrintFactory Workflow Rip EcoSystem. Mark Geeves, Color-Logic director of sales and marketing said of the qualification: “Print embellishment is a top-of-mind subject for wide-format printers when it comes to printing with white ink on metallic stocks in today’s market, and the PrintFactory Workflow RIP EcoSystem, combined with Color-Logic, produces embellishments which will open up new markets and applications for printers seeking opportunities in labels, signage, and point-of-purchase packaging.”

Geeves continued: “Since many potential Color-Logic licensees need to integrate new devices with their in-house software, at Color-Logic Color-Logic recently tested the PrintFactory Rip with a swissQprint wide-format printer and found that the Rip successfully conformed to our standards. Printers worldwide seeking to integrate Color-Logic with a printer using the PrintFactory Rip can be confident that Color-Logic generation of metallic files or embellishments will not be impaired.”

Color-Logic develops colour communication systems and software toolsets for special effect printing applications utilizing a PSPs existing workflows.

Separately, The Fujifilm Europe Print Experience Centre in Ratingen, Germany, has been certified a Color-Logic demonstration facility. The qualification was granted based on the demonstration by the centre’s staff of producing quality Color-Logic metallic images using a Fujifilm Reverie Press PC1120 with silver toner.
