Archroma has worked with Zydat to bring the complete ‘Color Atlas by Archroma’ colour library to the Vivid Colour Library Management (CLM) colour-matching platform for more accurate inkjet digital printing of fashion and textiles.
Vivid CLM was launched by Zydat in February this year and offers a designer-oriented solution to colour matching with a proprietary algorithm that translates spectral data into a RGB workflow. The solution’s palette storage system allows colourists to share palettes across the ecosystem.
Archroma’s Color Atlas of engineered colour standards has more than 5,760 colour references formulated to comply with leading eco-standards.
“Digital workflows and inkjet printing present an opportunity for designers and brands to embrace both their creative vision and their sustainability principles,” said Chris Hipps, global head of Archroma color management. “Our partnership with Vivid CLM reflects Archroma’s commitment to innovation and partnership that supports a more sustainable textile ecosystem.”
Matthew Forman, President of Vivid CLM by Zydat, added: “By integrating the Archroma Color Atlas into the Vivid CLM workflow, we are giving designers access to thousands of ready-made digital colours and enabling swift and seamless colour matching for their particular inkjet printing system.”
