UFABRIK has announced its new unique working relationship with CarbonQuota to validate its product portfolio through a comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) programme.

Recognising the growing demand for independent verified transparency, UFABRIK’s collaboration with CarbonQuota will ensure that every scientific claim is backed by audited and certified data.

By implementing rigorous LCAs, the digital display textile specialist seeks to remove ambiguity from the market, providing its customers and brands with clear, independent environmental information for all textiles within its range.

Group chief commercial officer, Robin East, said: “We really want to cut through the ambiguity surrounding sustainability in the wide-format digital printing industry.

“We don’t want to follow senseless standards that have created a disingenuous trend of product positioning, now so commonly used in greenwashing; we’re looking to redefine honest and credible certification within our industry.

Dominic Harris, co-founder at CarbonQuota said: “UFABRIK’s forward-thinking commitment to a full lifecycle strategy represents a major step forward. It is a serious, science-led approach that we are proud to support.”
