The TrueVIS XP-640 printer by Roland DG

Earlier today, Roland DG unveiled its most advanced line up of products to date to a room full of printers and dealers at the Roland DG Grand Print Event.

Held at the iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza Circuit in collaboration with BWT Alpine Formula One Team, the event served as a global stage for media, dealers, and influencers to experience firsthand the all new eco-solvent TrueVIS XP-640 and TY-300 DTF printer.

The event offered live product demonstrations, panel discussions, and adrenaline-fuelled Pit Stop challenges, where attendees witnessed the remarkable speed and quality of the new products.

Stephen Davis, EMEA marketing director at Roland DG, said: “By partnering with our partners at the BWT Alpine Formula One Team and hosting this event at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza circuit in Monza, we’re demonstrating the synergy between cutting-edge printing technology and the thrill of high performance.”

The TrueVIS XP-640 is the star of Roland DG’s latest line up, redefining high-speed productivity and exceptional print quality. With print speeds of up to 15sq m/h, a wider colour gamut enabled by red, orange, and green inks, and features like automatic media gap adjustment and advanced usability through a 7in touchscreen, the TrueVIS XP-640 is designed to meet the demands of high-volume print businesses. It also offers industry-leading low operating costs, ensuring maximum profitability.

Mr Davis added: “The debut of the TrueVIS XP-640 and our expanded portfolio underscores Roland DG’s relentless drive for innovation and excellence. Just as motorsport pushes the limits of technology and precision, Roland DG’s products are built to deliver unmatched performance, versatility, and value. With this new range of products we have amplified our focus on bringing more productivity benefits to our customers to help meet rising market demand, amidst tough economic conditions.”

Alongside the TrueVIS XP-640, Roland DG introduced another equally ground breaking product tailored to diverse industry needs. The TY-300 direct to film printer redefines apparel and textile customisation with vibrant colour reproduction and operational speeds 45% faster than competitors. Its environmentally certified inks and automated maintenance system provide a sustainable and efficient solution for high-demand environments.

Since the first model was released in 2016, the TrueVIS series has won worldwide acclaim from graphics production professionals for its ability to produce high-quality graphics.
