South Wales Police and its new Easymount Hybrid from Vivid
Catching criminals, busting gangs, and now South Wales Police have improved their signage printing capabilities with the installation of a new Easymount Hybrid.
The police force bought into the new hardware after its demand increased.
Staff members visited Sign and Display in Birmingham, where they saw the piece of hardware in action at Vivid Laminating Technologies’ stand.
Print manager of the South Wales Police, Stuart Evans, said: “As an in-plant design and print facility for South Wales Police, signage has become a big part of our business.
“Year on year demand has increased, and to meet the needs of the organisation, we felt we had to improve on our existing capabilities.
“We had previously used an Easymount EM-1400SH, and it has served us well, but we could see that the Easymount Hybrid would increase productivity and enable us to get through work more quickly.
“We are already seeing the benefits, it’s fast, user-friendly and produces perfect results every time.”
Mr Evans also praised Vivid’s installation service, mentioning the team configured the machine well despite challenges in space.
Training was also given to the team at South Wales Police, and use of the machine began almost immediately.
