Rui Leitao, chairman of Digidelta, celebrates 40 years of innovation
Digidelta has marked 40 years of innovation in 2026 by expanding its operations with a new facility.
The brand behind industry favourites, including the Decal printable adhesive film and the bio-based BIOND materials, is currently developing a new 15,000m/sq factory in Torres Novas, aiming to be completed this year and will support the development of new solutions.
With the completion of this expansion, the facility will house four coating lines, 1,300 racks and five specialist slitters.
This will enable the production of 75 million m/sq of materials per annum, in addition to jumbo conversion capacity of 100 million m/sq per year and 75 million m/sq in annual automated packaging.
From its manufacturing base in Torres Novas to retail, signage, décor and branding environments around the world, Digidelta continues to evolve from a Portuguese success story into a global materials partner for international brands and retailers.
