Embrace wrapped several stand for Audi at the iconic Silverstone race track

Embrace Building Wraps has completed its Audi commissioned project to created wraps for several Silverstone grandstands.

The campaign creative (by BBH London) features a bright red Audi RS graphic and a stylised tyre-track forming the four-ring logo – a design that needed to be eye-catching from every angle.

Audi’s goal was to cover the side and rear façades of the Becketts, Luffield and Village stands with vibrant, durable mesh banners for a long-term display running through 2026 into 2027.

Embrace provided a fully managed, turnkey solution – coordinating with Silverstone’s team and the client, finalising materials and engineering, and handling all design, printing and installation logistics.

The team at Embrace began with detailed site surveys and structural assessments at each stand. Engineers measured the exact scaffold geometry and calculated wind loads to custom-design metal frame supports and fixings for each wrap.

Flame-retardant, open-weave mesh PVC was specified for the banners (meeting Silverstone’s safety standards), so wind can pass through the material without tearing the print.

All graphics were printed in-house on wide-format UV printers, and where a grandstand’s banner exceeded one sheet, Embrace printed it in adjacent panels and joined them on site: technicians fitted the panels edge-to-edge and applied a matching printed cover strip over each seam, making the joint virtually invisible and preserving the continuity of the artwork.

Technicians assembled custom wireframe supports around the target stands and then lifted each mesh panel into place one by one.

Panels were attached at the top and tensioned downward using ratchet tensioners and turnbuckles, pulling the vinyl taut and eliminating wrinkles.

All perimeter fixings were equipped with thick rubber padding to guard against punctures, and the rope edges were reinforced and equipped with heavy-duty eyelets.

Heavy-duty bungee cords and carabiners then tensioned the banners to the wireframe.

This level of detail ensured that the wraps stayed absolutely stable and visually flawless, even through winter storms, high winds or heavy rain.

The bright red Audi RS and tyre-ring motif truly command attention from every angle.

As Embrace CEO Greg Forster notes, “the creative truly pops on these grandstands”, turning the structures into bold, eye-catching billboards for Audi.
