CMYUK has announced it has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by Kavalan in recognition of the measurable environmental savings achieved through the sale of Kavalan PVC-free materials to customers during 2025.
The certificate highlights the collective sustainability impact generated through the company’s continued promotion and distribution of Kavalan’s PVC-free wide format materials across the UK and Irish market.
CMYUK customers who used Kavalan’s PVC-free products throughout the year saw a 25,243kg reduction in CO2 emissions and 545,704 litres reduction in freshwater consumption.
Since 2020, CMYUK and TAYA have collaborated to establish Kavalan in the UK and Ireland, allowing UK and Ireland customers to access Kavalan’s PVC-free materials for the wide-format and display sector.
The collaboration was recognised last year when the company received the Kavalan Green Leader Award at FESPA, which acknowledged its initiative and consistent effort in promoting sustainable material innovation and driving measurable environmental change across the industry.
Michael Crook, commercial director, Materials, CMYUK, said: “Since introducing Kavalan to the UK market, we have remained committed to championing viable PVC-free alternatives that deliver both performance and sustainability.
“The environmental savings demonstrated in this certificate show what is possible when materials innovation is matched by industry adoption.”
