The new range at Premier is FSC certified, except Re-Board Fire Retardant
Premier has expanded its growing portfolio to offer Re-Board – a versatile paperboard with lightweight construction but heavyweight strength.
At the heart of Re-Board is a patented, ultra-dense, tilted fluted core, which gives the paperboard exceptional strength, rigidity, crush resistance and cutting performance.
Both Re-board’s liners and core are made from 100% paper and contain no plastics, creating a fully fibre-based light-weight display solution.
The range is made up of five products, all of which are suitable for UV, latex and screen printing.
The UV, latex and screen printing range includes: Re-Board Premium, the original paperboard, with a brown core and bright white surface that is great for printing; Re-Board Air, which is the lightest in the range and is best suited to 2D and 2.5D projects; Re-Board All White, is all white and is great for projects that require accurate colour reproduction and clear images; Re-Board All Black, has a charcoal-like matt black top layer, and a black core; Re-Board Brown is a kraft coloured board that supports sustainable messaging with a natural appearance and is suitable for lamination applications, and finally, Re-Board Fire Retardant has a Euroclass C fire rating, while delivering the same exceptional structural integrity and print quality as the other products.
Steve Jones, sheet media and thermoplastics director at Premier (UK and Ireland) said: “Re-Board proves that strong doesn’t have to mean heavy.
“Despite its impressively lightweight construction, this powerful paperboard delivers superb strength, stiffness and integrity. It’s also versatile – suitable for everything from signs and displays to free-standing furniture, so we’re excited that it has been added to our established Sheet Media portfolio.”
