Miss Look bring fashion print sampling in-house with Reggiani ReNoir Compact sublimation printer

Leicester-based clothing designer Miss Look has bought a Reggiani ReNoir Compact sublimation printer so it can bring sampling in-house.

“The fashion business is very time-pressured and samples were not being turned around as quickly as we’d have liked by the companies we outsourced to,” said Miss Look design creator Devinder Thind.

“Additionally, we were finding that our clothing designs were being quickly copied by competitors; it became clear that the only way to fully retain control over our designs was to bring everything in-house. In particular, our popular Christmas-themed swing dress design last festive season - of which we won contracts amounting to 350,000 dresses - was copied all over the place and we wanted to ensure that this didn’t happen again.”

Accompanied by Reggiani reseller i-Sub, Miss Look visited Reggiani’s Italy HQ before deciding on the ReNoir Compact, which has180cm printing width and top production speed of 620m2/hr. The printer was installed in February.
