Roland DG has added two new wide-format eco-solvent inkjet printer/cutters to its TrueVis range; the SG-300 (30in wide) and SG-540 (54in wide). The company claims the SG series runs up to 60% faster than previous comparable models in standard mode.
The SG-300/540 use two Roland DG FlexFire printheads and print using TrueVis Ink, engineered specifically for the printheads. The machines feature a ‘clean hands’ ink system with 500ml pouches which fit into reusable holders.
The SG printer/cutters, which run with Roland VersaWorks Dual Rip software, have a new cut carriage and blade holder with increased downforce and accuracy to make use of a wider range of media.
