DP Lenticular has brought out the first large-format Motion lens lenticular sheet to be designed and extruded in Europe. Motion 20 LPI UV-LF, which has a viewing angle of 54 degrees and a thickness of 1.95mm, is suitable for the production of animation lenticular images on digital printers and flatbed printers direct to the lens or via lamination. It can be finished on an automatic cutting table, manual cutting machine or a flatbed laser plotter.
The animation lens has been extruded with a UV protection resin to preserve colours when used in outdoor conditions and is said to eliminate any yellowing of the plastic for many years. The resin has also been fire tested to ensure it is within the regular norms for indoor use. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications Motion 20 LPI UV-LF is expected to be used for applications at bus shelters, airports, underground and railway stations etc.
The large-format sheets are packaged in boxes of 10 sheets and palletized with 100 sheets per pallet although different sizes and volumes are available on request. A 100 x100cm sheet is expected to be a particularly popular option for customer testing.
