3D sporting events signage specialist Amayse has launched a patented system that allows two different printed images to be displayed to different camera angles from the same space - doubling branding possibilities for TV exposure. 2View CamCarpets are made of a lightweight, foam structured material with a heavy backing which includes an anti-slip layer.

Japanese fashion designer Yuima Nakazato has used Fujifilm’s Acuity Select 20 large-format UV inkjet printer, together with high-elongation Uvijet KV ink, to create a stunning dress for the Paris Haute Couture Collection.
Kiian to launch Digistar Display sublimation ink at Fespa China
Kiian Digital will use Fespa China later this month to introduce Digistar Display, its new sublimation ink designed for direct and transfer printing with kit using Epson printheads. The range consists of eight colours - four process, two light and two spot colours.
Roland targets 3D printing market
Roland DG is using the Formnext show in Germany this week to showcase the potential of its ceramic 3D printing technology. The company said new jetting technologies make it possible to create complex ceramic objects with a small to mid-range 3D printer that lets small to mid-size companies get in on the rapid manufacturing action.
AR taken to a deeper level
Three companies - HiScene, Inuitive and Heptagon - have teamed up to take augmented reality (AR) a step further in terms of 3D depth sensing and AR/VR applications. The new HiAR Glasses’ AR operating system provides stereoscopic interactivity, 3D gesture perception, intelligent speech recognition, natural image recognition, and inertial measuring unit (IMU) displayed with an improved 3D graphical user interface.
Smithers report predicts enormous growth for digitally printed textiles
Smithers Pira is predicating that the digitally printed textile market will be worth 2.42billion Euro by 2021. Its newly published report, ‘The Future of Digital Textile Printing to 2021’ values the current market at 1.17billion Euro and forecasts an annual average growth of 12.3% to 2021.
IMI Europe releases European 2017 event programme

Fespa and Esma have partnered to launch a conference aimed at industrial printers, manufacturers and brand owners. The first Industrial Print in Production conference will take place 7 - 9 March 2017 in Hamburg, and will explore the use of print and related techniques within the manufacturing process.
