To boost its brand-building effort, Italian-based Pixartprinting has created 'Your Vital Signs'. Through the experiences of eight athletes, the project will express the intrinsic values of corporate business by associating them with those of extreme sports such as trail running, downhill mtb, freestyle kitesurfing, speed skiing, freeskiing and wingsuit skydiving.

A new ISO task force has been set up to work on a PDF standard to guide production workflow decisions and will make it possible to describe what a final printed piece is supposed to look like. Its chairman, Global Graphics’ CTO Martin Bailey, is inviting those in wide-format to get involved.

The UK master licence of the Signarama franchise has been acquired by Aliyyah-Begum Nasser and Salim Giga. The daughter/father team hope to extend the network (which in total has more than 900 centres in over 50 countries) here in the UK.

The ‘InPrint Decor Survey and Report 2016’ is now available. It provides findings from a survey conducted in July and August by InPrint (the industrial print show) in collaboration with IT Strategies, TCM Conference Management and IMI Europe, and finds that decor is poised to be the next biggest area for growth for industrial inkjet.
