The ImagePerfect range of media from Spandex has been expanded to include 100% PVC-free materials specifically designed for large-format digital inkjet printing. The new materials are compatible with all eco-solvent and solvent inks, as well as UV-cured inks and are suitable for use in an extensive range of indoor and outdoor signage applications. The polyolefin products are both plasticiser- and chlorine-free and feature a specially-developed top-coating for vibrant, high quality printability.

The JFX-1631 grand format, flatbed printer tops Mimaki’s range of UV printers and boasts a low power consumption, long lasting and low heat emitting LED UV curing system for efficiency. One inherent feature of the LED technology is that it requires no ‘warm up’ time, so can be switched on and off as required, reducing energy consumption and extending the life of the LEDs to somewhere in the region of 5,000 hours.
