IIJ in Drupa bid to find new OEMs for Konica Minolta

Inkjet bespoke systems company IIJ, will be offering “deep” technical advice on the use of inkjet printing to Drupa visitors in a customer-finding mission for itself and Konica Minolta.

John Corrall, MD of IIJ - the official sales and technical support centre for Konica Minolta industrial inkjet outside of Asia - said: “Inkjet is expanding rapidly into new markets and applications, and each of these brings their own new requirements. What Konica Minolta and IIJ offer is an open-minded attitude to new projects, and a willingness to give straight technical advice.”

He added: “We invest hundreds of thousands of pounds in producing print samples for our potential customers each year and we have just completed the first phase of a new £2m training centre near our UK headquarters.

“Any potential OEM component business in the West will be handled by us at Drupa. From experience, we are likely to find at least 200 new OEM customers for Konica Minolta at the show. We are sure that these customers will represent new market opportunities that in five or ten years will have become mainstream.”
