New president and CEO for Canon USA

Canon USA has announced the appointment of Isao ‘Sammy’ Kobayashi as president and CEO, effective from 1January, after serving as president and CEO at Canon Canada for the past year. He succeeds Kazuto ‘Kevin’ Ogawa, who returns to Japan for a new assignment following five years at Canon USA where he became president and CEO in April 2020.

Record year drives new recruitments at swissQprint UK

Three new recruits have joined the swissQprint UK. Yaroslav Kovalev and Kevin Hart, based in London and Manchester respectively, will support customers and address any complex print issues beyond just equipment operation. Simon Payne, who has an art working and design background, will work in the applications team.

WOO adds new members from five continents

Following its APAC Regional Forum in Bali this month the World Out of Home Organisation (WOO) has signed up another eight organisations, from Europe, Africa, Asia, the USA and Australasia. Four of the new members are international or national media owners, three are OOH service providers/suppliers and one is a national OOH association.
