DYSS moves LG's TV production into wide-format digital print

DYSS moves LG's TV production into wide-format digital print?

DYSS, the Korean manufacturer of UV direct-to-media printers, has supplied 24 Apollo RF260 2.6 x 1.8m flatbed UV printers to electronics giant LG so that it can add differentiating graphics to the frame of its TV screens.

To meet the demand DYSS designed a printer with the flatbed split into four quarters, each capable of moving independently. This means the operator has the ability to load four jigs of 37", 42" or 47" TVs, and be able to replace a completed unit whilst others are still printing for optimum efficiency. All 24 printers are currently installed at LG's factory in Korea, though eight will be moved to the production line in Poland.?

DYSS is hoping to make significant inroads into Europe where it is appointing distributors. B&P Graphic Supplies is the UK distributor.?
