tilia Cloud to be officially unveiled at Print 19

At Print 19 (Chicago, Oct 3 – 5 October) Tilia Labs will unveil tilia Cloud, which will be presented as a secure but open framework that aims to revolutionise the way print companies connect, access and manage data.
According to Tilia Labs, the graphic communications industry has lacked a platform capable of utilising Industry 4.0 data. tilia Cloud - by gathering and storing data in real-time from connected devices and equipment, and moulding that data into meaningful information - allows actions to be automated and decisions made instantaneously. It also enables companies to share licenses, centralise resources, and bring on new facilities and users as required over time. tilia Cloud provides open Rest APIs to enable full business and process automation. There is real-time streaming API for live updates and collaboration across all connected clients. Using a modern microservices architecture and serverless technology, tilia Cloud scales horizontally. All microservices are multi-tenant aware and use secure, token-based authentication to provide safe integrations with virtually all private or hybrid cloud environments, eliminating any risk to existing integrations or processes. Auto-scaling and automated backups provide security against any single-point of failure. User accounts can be created, and roles defined in detail, while policies can be specified, and licenses accessed on any resource in the system anywhere in the world.
