Mutoh extends direct-to-object desktop printer range

Mutoh Europe is extending its portfolio of compact, six-colour UV LED direct-to-object (DTO) flatbed production printers with the addition of the XpertJet 461UF and XpertJet 661UF.

The new models - which join Mutoh’s existing ValueJet 426UF and 626UF DTO printers - feature a multi-language intuitive OLED display, new cosmetics and the manufacturer’s Local Dimming Control technology. Both printers can be setup in either CMYK or in CMYK, white, varnish and are suited for direct printing onto a wide variety of materials including three dimensional objects up to 15 cm thick. The XPJ-461 and XPJ-661 are equipped with a newly developed segmented 2in wide UV lamp. The lamp has six different sections, with each section individually controlled to enable multiple varnish effects in the same print table movement.
