BPIF makes urgent call for PSP feedback

The BPIF is calling for industry feedback on the current experience of the Government’s Support Schemes and how companies are utilising them. PSPs are being urged to take part in a survey at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BPIFtp_CoronavirusSupportSchemes , which closes on 30 April.

BPIF conducted its last Business Impact Survey (https://tinyurl.com/rmyx4nh) 23 March - 6 April 2020 and was open to all companies in the industry. The combined turnover of fully responding companies was over £3.1bn from businesses employing more than 22,000 people. That survey has since been fed into the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The BPIF said the rapidly changing situation in relation to Covid-19 means survey reports are vital in helping it to set out “the very significant effects the crisis has taken so far on our industry, and the current effectiveness of government support actions”. “It would be helpful for those filling in the survey to know about their organisations’ experiences with regard to the Job Retention Scheme and any loan scheme applications before answering the survey,” the BPIF has said.
