Landa S10P helps PSP extend POP/POS offering

Netherlands-based retail print specialist Em. De Jong is installing a B1/41in Landa S10P Nanographic printer to enable it to add new print services, such as larger POP and POS graphics, as well as increase productivity and reduce time to market.
“The size, speed, quality and versatility of the Landa S10P is unique. For our POS, POP and commercial print markets, we currently operate a number of toner based digital presses, offset presses and large-format inkjet printers. And they all have their place, but we always look ahead to the next technology that can give us a competitive edge. The Landa S10P is that product – smart-tech for the future that can drive new business and add value to the process,” said Stijn de Jong, Em. de Jong CEO. “Because the Landa S10P is based on an offset sheet size, we will be able to leverage this size increase to significantly improve productivity. This will also mean that we can streamline the process, enabling us to meet increased demand for shorter run length work. In addition, as the Landa press can print on any uncoated stock, we’re looking to extend that beyond our current substrate types, to give customers even more choice.” Established in 1906 in Baarle-Nassau, Em. de Jong is a fourth-generation family business employing 1,200 staff and with seven production sites across the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. Servicing many retail outlets in Western Europe, the company produces and delivers thousands of printed jobs per week, including a wide range of POS and POP graphics, brochures and leaflets.
