Elitron to present automated Kombo TAV V2 at Fespa

Elitron will be presenting its new Kombo TAV V2 fully automatic finishing solution at Fespa this week.

The system can handle media sheets up to 320x 220cm and stacks up to 1550mm. It has front loading/unloading to reduce the overall footprint requirement.

Stacks and individual jobs can be recognised via a Seeker System that reads reference points and automatically loads the cutting files, or the job can be identified using a printed barcode or QR code.

The vacuum bed, with up to 32 vacuum sections, is automatically activated where the cutting heads are working. Two independent gantries and two cutting heads work simultaneously, their workload balanced automatically by Elitron’s Twin Cut software. Each cutting head comes with up to five tools.

A patented Airo Panel makes light of unloading and stipping as no nicks are necessary. Single and multiple sheets are unloaded in one go. Both product and waste materials are unloaded and deposited in the unloading bay, and the nick-free sheets are ready for the next process.
