DPI offers technical advice online

An 'Ask Rich' technical advice service is part of new Digital Print Innovations (DPI) website. The site also links through to DPI's Twitter feed.

DPI managing director Stewart Bell said of the new site: "It's no longer good enough for sales, service and support channels to hide behind static addresses when the dynamics of the market mandate more interactivity. DPI's news feed and Twitter stream reflect that requirement and prove that we not just customer-facing, but also customer-embracing."

The 'Ask Rich' service is headed by DPI technical director Richard Butler. "People in this industry have learnt to trust Richard's expertise over the years, and that was where the idea for our 'Ask Rich' service originated," Bell explains. "Our existing customers know the value of his knowledge, so it's logical that we want our future customers to know that, too."

All the hardware options offered by DPI are reviewed on the website. This includes wide-format printers from Meital and WP Digital, for whom DPI is exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland, as well as Epson and Seiko. Esko Artwork's range of cutters and workflow solutions are also represented, as are supported Rip solutions from Onyx and Caldera.
