Second M-Press Tiger for StylePrint

Second M-Press Tiger for StylePrint

StylePrint, an Australian screen printing company, has bought a second Agfa M-Press Tiger five months after installing its first. "Since the acquisition of the first M-Press Tiger our customers like the quality so much that the demand has gone up to the point where we clearly see the need for a second engine," said Andrew Woodhouse, who heads production at Melbourne-based StylePrint. "Our customers do not just ask us for print, they specify 'Tiger prints.' A Tiger print is becoming a new definition in Australia."

Developed with Thieme, the Agfa M-Press Tiger combines the printing expertise of both companies - screen printing from Thieme and digital inkjet printing from Agfa. The unit can print up to 700m2/hr and handle substrates up to 10mm thick. It also enables variable data printing.?

"Agfa's M-Press Tiger is the first true production digital machine that really bridges the gap between speed and quality," said Woodhouse. "It's been designed in a way that mimics screen systems, so it suits operations like ours precisely."?
