3M adds to its film range

3M has extended its films range, including new vehicle wrap options, a creative graphic series and an architectural film.

On the wrapping side comes the Scotchcal Graphic Film Series IJ 170 with Comply v3 adhesive, which 3M Commercial Graphics is presenting as an alternative for trendy car graphics. The cast vinyl film can be digitally printed with solvent and UV piezo IJ inks to create fun applications. The use of 3M Comply v3 adhesive technology means easy and fast application even on curved or corrugated surfaces and the film can be removed using heat without leaving any residues.?

Also new for vehicle wrapping are three Controltac products. The Controltac Car Wrap Film with Comply v3 Adhesive Series 85Cv3, ?is a cast coloured film available in 24 standard colours (plus customer colours), gloss and matte. The adhesive system lets you play around with positioning the film until it is exactly where you want it to be. ?3M Controltac Graphic Film IJ 380 and IJ 380-10 is a flexible printable film designed for applications into deep recesses and challenging 3D surfaces. 3M Controltac Graphic Film with Comply V3 Adhesive Series IJ 180Cv3 is for large-format vehicle wrapping installations with a long lifetime durability and 3M warranty. This film can also be screen- and digitally printed and features Controltac and the new Comply technology.

3M has extended its range of Di-Noc films by adding the AR Series of abrasion-resistant architectural finishes. The new film can be applied on three-dimensional, contoured surfaces such as mouldings, pillars, walls, doors, counters or tabletops, and elevator cargos and doors. The films are available in a variety of effects giving the appearance of solid wood, stone, metal or synthetic material and are supplied as 1.22m x 25m rolls.
