Greek sign-maker goes for Grapo Manta

Greek sign manufacturer Georgiadis Colorsign has installed a UV-curable Manta from Grapo Technologies. With its 3 x 2 m flat-bed design and the ability to handle media thicknesses up to 60 mm, the Manta can print directly on rigid, heavy and odd-shaped materials including those with structural surfaces such as wood, metal, Plexiglass, glass, ceramic and carpet.
Established in 1992, Georgiadis Colorsign has been delivering customised sign solutions to the Greek advertising market for more than 18 years. “With the Manta, there are virtually no limits,” says Nikos Georgiadis, managing director of the company. “We can now offer our clients a new level of innovation and create real visual impact by printing on all kinds of materials and formats. Point-of-sale advertising will be just one of many applications where we can put this technology to work.”
