Imagefactory plumps for HP FB7500 printer

Imagefactory has bought an HP FB7500 printer, due for installation next month. Tim Boore, the company’s head of digital technologies, said: “The investment was made to allow us to be more competitive on price, increase our capacity and improve response times given average run lengths have reduced significantly and turnaround can be a next day requirement.”

Boore added: “The cost savings associated with digital production over screen it is very evident. And, while our existing digital equipment is very good, it can struggle on long runs due to print speeds. The new printer increases our existing digital speed by more than four times. Also, the ink seems to perform well on all substrates with very good ink adhesion, for instance, to PCV.”
